Description of Classes
This is a well rounded class designed to suit anyone, no matter your age, fitness level or experience with yoga. Students will experience a bit of everything, from stretching, strengthening, balancing, breathing and of course relaxing. There is strong focus on the preparation of poses, sometimes with the use of props. Simple breathing exercises are also introduced to improve posture, a greater sense of calm and an enhanced sense of self.
Rise and Shine:
A regular morning yoga routine will help clear your thoughts so that you remain calm and clear headed for your daily activities and interaction with others. You will be lead through a dynamic class designed to wash away any stress from your night’s sleep and re-energise you for the rest of the day. The practice will ease you out of bed and connect you to your breath, before we start warming up the body. We will then continue on to some gentle sun salutations and move into a number of stronger poses to build strength and create openness in the entire body.

Preparation & What to Expect
- Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your first class to complete a new student form.
- Try to allow at least 90 minutes after a meal before attending a class ( or have a light snack if necessary).
- Wear comfortable clothing which allows a full range of movement
- Advise of any injuries or health conditions
- Yoga mats will be provided although you may wish to bring your own.
What to Expect:
A typical class with Jenny will include asana (physical postures/poses), pranayama (breathing), and shavasana (relaxation).
The postures are designed to work with the body, to open energy blockages and cleanse the body. You will learn to use the breath as a tool when moving in and out of these postures, enabling the release and opening of tight muscles. The class will end with a deeply rewarding relaxation to rest the nervous system and quiet the mind.
Learn the foundations of yoga in a friendly and safe environment, with other beginners. It doesn’t matter how flexible or strong you are, but you will feel the benefits after the first class.

Flowing Stretch (6.00 – 7:00pm):
Thursdays, 8 February – 12 April 2018 ( 10 weeks)
This is held within the premises of Southside Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre – corner of Scollay Street and Reed Street North, Tuggeranong. Entrance to the car park is from Reed St North, and can be accessed up the ramp in the top level.
Rise and Shine Yoga (8.00 – 9.00 am):
Saturdays, 10 February – 14 April 2018 (8 weeks). Please note there is no class on 3 March due to teacher training and 31 March due to Easter.
This is held at the Tuggeranong Seniors Centre on Cowlishaw St, Greenway.

5 Class Pass (3 month expiry): $85 / concession $70
10 Class Pass ( 6 month expiry): $150 / concession $130
20 Class Pass ( 6 month expiry): $290 / concession $270.
